Zhi Tea is an independently owned, certified organic tea company based in Austin, Texas. Zhi's mission is to elevate the American tea culture and to share an appreciation for the tea experience.
Founded in 2007, Zhi Tea specializes in oolongs and hand-blended artisan signatures. They sell all kinds of tea: green, white, black, oolong, rooibos, maté, fruit tisanes, and Herbal teas, as well as other tea related products. Zhi shares their carefully selected tea line at their Gallery, online, and by wholesaling with select culinary partners.
Zhi's physical tea room is called the 'Zhi Tea Gallery.' It hosts their signature 'Aroma Bar' where guests can explore the smells, textures and personalities of over 80 teas. They also offer free samples of any tea and a food menu of cheeses, nuts, chocolates and spreads. The Zhi Tea Gallery is located in fast growing east Austin, and is just one block away from several urban farms including the famous Boggy Creek Farm.
