Red tea?[]

What should be done about the first usage of 'red tea' at wikipedia:Red tea ? Jackiespeel 10:47, December 30, 2011 (UTC)

For discussion, I am going to reprint the section in question here.

A type of tea known in most countries as black tea, made from the completely oxidized bud leaves of Camellia sinensis. This tea type is commonly known in some Asian cultures as 紅茶 (literally “red tea”).

Are we sure that this statement from Wikipedia is even correct? Generally accepted? It is unsourced. I do know that many of the teas we have in the house (Chinese and Ceylonese) brew up red, but are still referred to as black teas. But, it would be nice to have some sort of a source. There may be one in Wikipedia’s wikipedia:Black tea article. — SpikeToronto 04:51, January 7, 2012 (UTC)
It is my recollection (I emphasize "recollection": I cannot recall where I saw it) that, although in English these teas are called "black tea," in Japanese they are called by a term that means, literally, "red tea." -- BruceG 02:01, January 8, 2012 (UTC)

Lemon rooibos[]

Given that there a number of varieties of rooibos tea, it might be practical to have a listing-with-details on this page, with eg a redirect from 'lemon rooibos' (which is a wanted page here) to the relevant section. Jackiespeel 16:13, January 6, 2012 (UTC)

I think the sentence I added deals with the matter for the moment - a list of the several flavours can be created 'in due cours.' (Possibly with the various brands). Jackiespeel 22:53, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
