These are "fruits, herbs, and spices" used singly or in combination in the same manner as "tea proper." Most can be used fresh or dried.
A number of herbs etc can be grown in the garden and used as tea - eg Melissa tea, Peppermint tea and Rosehip (which needs some preparation.
